CUSTOMER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these terms and conditions that apply to my professional services. By making an appointment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you cannot or do not want to agree to these terms and conditions, you should not make an appointment or continue your treatment.

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION
You may be offered a free 20-minute initial online consultation. No therapy will be provided during the consultation. The purpose of this first consultation is to give you as much information about hypnosis and how it can help you, as well as for me to confirm that it is part of my skills. During this call, an estimate of the number of sessions needed to address your presented problem is given based on the information presented at that time. Estimates are rough guidelines only and are subject to change.

RESERVATION & PAYMENT
- In-person sessions : A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking your first in-person session. The balance of the fees is due at least 48 hours before the first session. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the session appointment.
- Online sessions: No deposit is required for online sessions, however payment for online sessions must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session start time. When payment is not received 24 hours before your session, the session will be canceled and may be offered to another person. It is your responsibility to pay the session fees before each scheduled session in order to confirm the appointment.
CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION AND REFUND
Cancellation and postponement
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let us know as soon as possible. Notification must be made by email or phone at least 48 hours prior to an in-person session or 24 hours for an online session.

Refunds
No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of in-person sessions or within 24 hours of online sessions. The session fees are for my time and professional expertise and are not a guarantee of success. Therefore, no refund will be given for sessions you attended and paid for the session. Where a discount package or therapy program has been booked and prepaid, if you choose to interrupt your therapy process before attending all sessions, a pro-rated refund will be issued after deducting the full standard session fee for all sessions you attended.

Session fees​
All professional fees will be communicated to you prior to booking. My professional fees are subject to review and may increase from time to time. You will always receive a confirmation of professional fees before booking.
Payment methods
Payment can be made online by credit / debit card or PAYPAL â„¢. Payment for in-person sessions can also be made by credit / debit card at the end of your session. Cash and checks will not be accepted without prior agreement.
CONTACT BETWEEN SESSIONS
All contact between sessions will be by phone, email or WhatsApp during office hours only (insert office hours). Any message received outside of these hours will only be processed during office hours.
MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS
I can ask questions about your medical history to establish any contraindications to treatment. It will also help assess whether your health is affecting (or is being affected by) the treatment goals you want to achieve. Please keep me informed of any medical changes during your treatment or if you resume treatment after a period of absence. If you are receiving care or treatment from a doctor, healthcare professional or therapist, eg. General practitioner, psychologist, psychiatrist or counselor, you may be asked to request their authorization before the start of therapy sessions. Please note that I will be unable to provide my professional services if you have epilepsy or any form of psychosis.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the online sessions. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian even on a zoom call. A form from the parent accepting the session must be completed before the session.​
PARTICIPATE IN YOUR SESSIONS
Please make sure you are available at the start time of your session. If you are late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to make a full session available, however, as the ability to do so will depend on bookings after your session this cannot be guaranteed.
HYPNOTHERAPY RECORDINGS
Hypnotherapy recordings should not be listened to while driving, using machinery, or any other activity requiring concentration. Any recording provided is for your personal use only and should not be shared, loaned, copied or sold.
RESULTS OF THE SESSIONS
Agreement to work on the issues you present does not imply or guarantee in any way that your present issue (s) will be resolved. No result can or will be guaranteed. However, I will always strive to use my best efforts and skills to work towards your goals and desired results.
STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR
During any therapy session, I will treat you with respect and I will not abuse your trust in me. I will use best practices at all times for our mutual benefit. In return, you agree not to harm yourself or any other person, including me, or any property belonging to me or to any other person. You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except for medications prescribed to you by your doctor. If you attend sessions while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or if you exhibit violent or abusive behavior, I will cancel the session and may refuse to see you for other sessions without refunding any payment already carried out.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All contacts including sessions, phone conversations and emails will be made confidentially and can be recorded. Prior to any registration, your agreement will be sought. All recordings, conversations and notes will be kept confidential except in the following circumstances:
- you authorize the breach of confidentiality
- I am forced by a court
Also when the information is of such a nature that confidentiality cannot be maintained, for example if the possibility of harming oneself or others exists, in the event of fraud or crime, when minors (under 18) are involved or when an attending physician or other healthcare professional requests a report. A copy of the report will be available upon request.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
Claire MULLER will not be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential or other damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of income or similar economic loss), whether contractual, tort or otherwise, arising from advice or information provided to you during the professional services provided by Claire MULLER. In addition, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold Claire MULLER harmless against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation in professional services.
APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions and any other matter arising out of or in connection with these terms, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore to settle any dispute that may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.

UPDATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Please familiarize yourself with the changes if you have resumed therapy with me after a long period of absence.
DATA PROTECTION
For my services, your personal data is collected, processed, used and stored in accordance with the following privacy policy: [link to privacy policy / statement] . By making an appointment, you signify your acceptance of this privacy policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not make an appointment. The terms of this privacy policy may change from time to time without notice, so please check my website periodically for any changes.
CONCERNS AND COMPLAINTS
If you have a concern or complaint about your therapy, please discuss it with myself first and I will do my best to resolve the issue.

STATEMENTS OF UNDERSTANDING
By signing the Client Agreement, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Client Agreement. You also agree with the statements below: I confirm that I have been informed by Claire MULLER of the scope of the therapies she provides and give my full consent to receive therapy sessions from Claire MULLER. I understand that results may vary from person to person and Claire MULLER's agreement to work on the problems that I present, using the therapies appropriate to my situation, does not imply or guarantee in any way the resolution of any presented problem or problems. I understand that hypnotherapy or any other therapy or information provided by Claire MULLER in person or by phone, e-mail or Internet, does not replace or replace medical care, psychological or psychiatric treatment. If I have any doubts or concerns about my health, I will seek advice from an appropriate qualified healthcare professional. I declare that, if Claire MULLER advises me before or after any therapy session, to seek medical approval, I will consult my general practitioner, hospital consultant and / or other healthcare professional and I will obtain the appropriate written approval for Claire MULLER before the next therapy session. I have been informed that I am free to end some or all of the sessions at any time. I understand that my level of motivation is vital in the therapy process and I agree to participate to the best of my ability at all times, including by making reasonable use of therapeutic suggestions during and between sessions, as well as by listening MP3 recordings and / or perform other therapeutic tasks as appropriate. I have answered all questions accurately and sincerely and provided background information during the initial consultation and / or the first therapy session and will continue to do so during all subsequent therapy sessions.

CONFIDENTIALITY
By signing this form, I accept that Claire MULLER may disclose information to a specific person or agency if it has been determined that a vulnerable person (child or elder) is in danger; if, as a client, I am in imminent danger to myself or to others; or if a subpoena has been requested.​
I also understand that at any time, Claire MULLER may discuss certain aspects of my case with other colleagues, always keeping my full name and my identity completely confidential, unless otherwise authorized.
